Chickpea Brownie

1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed 
½ cup peanut butter 
¼ cup cocoa 
¼ cup maple syrup 
1 tsp vanilla extract 
½ tsp salt 
½ tsp baking powder 
(Optional – 3 tbsp chopped walnuts or chocolate chips) In your food processor blitz the chickpeas until fine, in a bowl add all the other ingredients and stir together, do not overwork it. Spoon into a muffin tray and bake at 170c for 15 min, its ok if it’s a little gooey as it continues cooking out of the oven. 
Cut up into 12, 1 slice is 1 portion.  
I’ve been told that these aren’t sweet enough… if you have a sweet tooth add extra maple syrup (4 tbsp) and salt (1/2 tsp). 
Cut up into 16, 1 piece is 1 portion.
